THEY/THEM
I am a New York City based therapist-in-training focused on sex therapy for individuals and couples/polycules/platonic partners looking for support in their interpersonal relationships, sex life, and mental health.
I believe sex and relationships can be anything (inclusive of kink, asexual/aromantic spectrums, and spiritual beliefs) and find it inspiring to see individuals who are confronting norms about what sex, love, desire, and pleasure should be and exploring what actually works for them.
In our work together, we co-create a therapeutic space that offers you a break from the pressures of reality to build mind-body attunement, self-expression, and process emotion and conflict.
I use a mix of approaches that are anti-oppressive, trauma-aware, and person-centered, with a focus on relational healing both in and out of therapy.
My clients include folx who may be new to private practice therapy or who may feel daunted by topics of sex/sexuality, intimacy, or therapy itself. Specific areas of focus include: issues of gender and sexuality, social and/or medical gender transition, sex work, sexual trauma, religious trauma, addictive or harmful behaviors/compulsions, life transitions/relocation, dating, friendship, and relational/occupational/familial conflict.
I want therapy to be affordable and accessible therapy to anyone who wants it. I offer a sliding scale fee structure, virtual and in-person sessions, and ongoing attention to feedback and accessibility. I am queer, was raised in the Southern U.S., and am trying to learn how to fix my bike.
