WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

Specialized training for your specific concerns.

Sex therapists are licensed and certified mental health professionals like clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists.

After completing the standard training required for licensure, each therapist on our team has undergone advanced training in sexuality and gender so we can treat specific concerns including (but not limited to) sexual and gender identity concerns, performance concerns, and sexual trauma.

Our staff is very knowledgeable about alternative lifestyles, identities, and gender expressions. We represent a range of life experiences such as: trans, queer, punk, child of poverty, orphan, adopted, adult child of alcoholics, former sex worker, kink-identified, poly-identified, non-binary, pansexual, sexual assault survivor, complex childhood trauma survivor, and we strongly believe that our experiences and perspectives enhance the service we’re able to provide to our clients.
